Welcome!

I am an academic faculty specializing in Computer Science with an M.S.(by Research), at the department of Information Technology, Campus of Technology (CCT), Institute of Science and Technology (IOST), Tribhuvan University (TU), Dharan, Nepal– one of the finest institution for a CS and IT enthusiast in Nepal nestled in a picturesque setting, gracefully situated between fertile plains and majestic and towering high hills.

We have a vibrant geographical topology and a peaceful green campus, amidst the foothills of Dharan sub-metro city. The lush greenery, particularly the mango trees, and the bucolic views of Dharan city to the south and the high hills to the north, uplift your spirits when you look out.

I did my MS (by Research) with the awesome professor Dr. Manas Thakur at SCEE, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi. The experience taught me the significance of research in academia, instilling in me patience and determination. Prior to this, I discovered my passion for computer science during my undergraduate at Godawari College, which is affiliated with TU, and cultivated my interest in academics at Sukuna Higher Secondary School in Morang.

Apart from teaching at the university, I am also affiliated with CAIR-Nepal (Center for Artificial Intelligence (AI) Research Nepal) which conducts research in all facets of AI and computer science, in general. CAIR-Nepal, led by Dr. Tekraj Chhettri, focuses on responsible, human-centered, and explainable AI. Currently, I along with the team of CAIR-Nepal am working on a project named NCHLOD: Nepal Cultural Heritage Linked Open Data which aims to preserve information about cultural heritages with a high socio-economic potential, including tourism as the most prominent example using ontologies.
